Torres To Become New Crockett Elementary Principal

Borger ISD is excited to announce that beginning the fall of 2021, Jennifer Torres will be the principal at Crockett Elementary!

Mrs. Torres graduated from WTAMU with her bachelor’s degree in 2003 and her master’s degree from Lamar University in 2018.

She has been an educator for eighteen years. Six years were spent teaching 3rd and 4th grades at Crockett Elementary while serving on the leadership team at Crockett for five of those years. Most recently, Mrs. Torres has been the Assistant Principal at Paul Belton Elementary.

While Mrs. Torres will miss her Paul Belton staff and students, she is excited to return to Crockett, a place that holds a special place in her heart. She is excited and proud to serve Crockett Elementary students, staff, and families as Principal for the 2021-2022 school year! Congratulations Mrs. Torres!

The current principal, Mr. Hatfield, will be retiring at the end of this school year.
